Frequently Asked Questions
Flower & Products Questions
What is the difference between a floral arrangement and a bouquet?
Our floral arrangements come in a vessel with water, pre-arranged by an expert floral artist. Bouquets are wrapped in a composable hydrating wrap and require you to recut the stems and arrange the flowers yourself. Both are carefully curated to showcase the beauty of the current growing season.
How long will my flowers last?
Our local growing practices deliver longer-lasting flowers and a higher-quality floral product than what you can find in most stores. By growing flowers native to Pennsylvania and picking them the same day you receive your order, our bouquets and flower arrangements can last up to 1-2 weeks.
How can I care for my flowers to make them last longer?
There are a few simple things you can do to keep your flowers fresher and more vibrant!
For bouquet purchases, we recommend removing them from their compostable hydrating wrap, recutting the stems, and placing them in a vessel with water as soon as possible. The hydrating wrap is designed to keep them fresh for hours at room temperature but try to avoid leaving them in the wrap for too long or exposing them to high temperatures.
For both bouquet and arrangement purchases, we recommend recutting the stems, changing the water in your vase every 2-3 days, and avoiding direct sunlight.
What types of flowers will come in my bouquet or flower arrangement?
All of our bouquets and flower arrangements use seasonal flowers, foliage, and fillers that are currently blooming in our gardens.
Can I request a specific kind of flower in my order?
Because our flowers are locally grown here in our gardens, we only use flowers that are blooming in the current growing season. If you would like to request a specific type of flower for your bouquet or arrangement, you can add an “Order Note” on the Cart page and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Can I purchase your flowers wholesale?
If you are interested in purchasing wholesale flowers, please submit a Wholesale Request Form and we will be in touch soon.
How soon do I need to book my custom flower order?
We recommend reaching out with a custom flower as soon as possible so we can book your date. Please contact us with more information to get started and we will reply to you shortly!

Sustainability Questions
What do you use to grow your flowers?
We are committed to organic growing practices. All of our flowers are cultivated right here in our cottage gardens using sunlight, rainwater, and a little tender love and care from our team. Only minimal chemicals are used in the process. We pride ourselves on growing through patience, determination, and a dash of trial and error.
What types of packaging do you use?
We exclusively use sustainable packaging. All of our flowers are protected by compostable paper and the stems are wrapped in a compostable hydrating wrap. We do our best to be environmentally conscious in all aspects of our business.
